Jon Dogar-Marinesco
President, Creative Director

Addressing the clients' needs from both design and business perspectives, Jon has conceived and implemented successful advertising campaigns for national tourist offices, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators and travel trade organizations.

As co-founder and Chief Design Officer of TravelBreak.com, Jon acquired expertise in website and user interface design.

Jon was the VP of Sigma Design (New York) — a new-product development company, which he also co-founded.

As VP of Cambridge Graphics (New York) Jon started and developed the multi-media department. Company's clients included the "Big Five" accounting firms and the "Big Six" consulting firms.

Jon's background is in architecture, photography and graphic design. His work has won national and international awards.

Manuela Marinesco
VP Media

Passionate about theater and film, Manuela graduated with a Master of Arts degree from the Theater & Film Institute in Bucharest, Romania. She escaped from the Communist country in 1980, leaving behind a career which could have made her the most important film and theater critic of her generation.

Challenged to cross the bridge from arts to business, Manuela earned an MBA in Marketing/Advertising from Baruch College (CUNY). Her college term papers helped real life clients of Point Blank define their marketing strategies.

Winning the First Prize Award in the Philip Morris Marketing / Communications competition confirmed Manuela's excellent analytical skills, her ability to identify problems and find the best marketing solutions.

After joining Point Blank in 1988, Manuela's expertise became print media planning and buying. Praised by clients for making the most of their budgets, she has established during the years wonderful working relationships with major consumer and trade publications.

Always fighting to get the best deals for her clients, Manuela built a reputation as a reliable media person.
